We are all aging.  From the moment we are born, we are aging.
In the beginning, we are excited to be turning five, sixteen, twenty-one, with each new age we gain more and more freedoms.  By the time we are in our thirties, we should be more or less, free to do whatever we wish.  Our forties arrive, and we realize, perhaps, for the first time that we are not immortal.  That yes, our bodies, faces, and minds, and let's not forget our eyes, are aging.
At this point, I am forty-five to date, we need to make a decision.  Are we going to age graceful, with a smile on our face.  Or are we going to fight it, only to find in the end no matter how many squats we did, how many times we turned down that piece of chocolate cake, or how many surgeries or injections we have had, old age will find us.
I say let's enjoy it.  Every moment, the good, the bad, and the ugly.  Every second of it.  So when we look at our faces in the mirror, when Father Time has caught up with us, we can account for every laugh line, every frown line, and every age spot.  And be grateful for every single one...

I was sick last weekend, with what seemed to be a sinus infection/or cold, with all the body aches and exhaustion of the flu.  I am one of the lucky ones though.  I have the flexibility in my schedule to be able to just shut down.  To ly in bed, resting or sleeping, whatever my body needs to recover.  Without the hassle of children, their schedules, and other life responsibilities.
    For that I am grateful.
For everyone else, who does not have that luxury, make sure when you come down with some thing, communicate with your family members that you are under the weather, and they need to help you get better.  Rather that be, cooking dinner, picking up after themselves, helping out with other siblings, what ever the case may be, and then you need to let them help.  Stay out of the way, don't try to control the situation to the way you want it done.  Let them do it their way.
Be sure and thank them for what ever is was they were able to do for you to allow you to rest.   Even if it isn't done exactly the way you would do it, be grateful that they tried.  Let them know they are appreciated.  Then next time you are not feeling well they will be more apt to help.
Just a thought...Enjoy your health today....
