So, I took a bit of a hiatus. I had some unfinished business to attend to. I needed to finish my health coach training with the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, which I did in Dec of 2014.
I, also, needed to sell my salon.
After five years, a lot of blood, sweat, and tears, ( ok, not that much blood, but lots of tears).
I needed to let it go. I am going to write a blog about what that experience was like. Opening and closing my business. But for now this is about new beginnings, new directions, and new opportunities.
Another thing I needed to do was, to decide what exactly I wanted to do and how I wanted to go about doing it. I know I want to put together a program to help stylists become healthier and happier in their career and personal life, to help stylists manage stress, and help stylists change the world, one client at a time. I know I want to teach seminars, webinars, and summits to educate and serve my fellow stylists.
I know what it is like, I know how hard you work. All the hours standing, twisting, and bending, all the while holding your arms above your shoulders the entire day. I know you have a hard time saying no, and what is one more hour at the end of the day. I know you suffer from burn out, exhaustion, poor eating habits and addictive substances. I know what it is like. I have been there. I was that stylist eating hotdogs, chips, and soda in 5minutes while mixing color, texting, and chatting with other employees. I couldn't wait for my cigarette break or to hit the bar to finally be able to relax after a 14hour day. I know.
With all of that being said, I want to help. I want to help you by adding 7 minute habits through out your day, to help you feel better. To give you more energy and stamina, without the help from stimulants. I want to help you, create small habits, one step at a time, to incorporate life changing wellness. In turn, you will want to pass it on to your clients, family and friends.
Together we will be creating ripple effects all around us. Giving people the knowledge, the love, and the tools to make this an even more beautiful world.
I have a website TheHealthyStylist.net, it is a generic website hosted by IIN.

I am working in the process of creating another website that will encompass all I am envisioning for our future. It should be,(fingers crossed), up and running no later than Aug. 1st.
I am scouting out locations for classes. And will be visiting salons soon. If you, or your salon would like more information about my Healthy Stylist Program, please email me.
